	Greenhousebuilder.com is the Greenhouse / Garden specialty division of BackyardHQ. Our parent company, Horizon Building Systems began selling and manufacturing portable storage buildings in 1986. Patio furniture, hot tubs, above ground swimming pools and pool tables were added to our retail stores (called the Backyard Store) in 1989. About this time we also began selling and installing carports, patio covers and sunrooms. The Backyard Store had 3 locations in San Antonio, Texas and 1 in Corpus Christi, Texas along with our Portable Building manufacturing plant. And then came the Internet! In 1997 our owner began the companies first web site, Patiostore.com, selling patio furniture and game room items. Since then our patiostore.com has grown to include departments selling Greenhouses, portable structures, sports logo items, toys, home improvements, swimming pools, patio furniture, surplus items and much more. Due to the huge success of our internet business, we closed our retail locations and sold the portable building manufacturing business to focus on our web business. The Backyard Store operates out of their office building and warehouses in San Antonio, Texas. Greenhousebuilder.com Greenhousebuilder.com is now operated by Backyard HQ which is owned by James Glasgow, VP of patiostore.com with the consulting services of Patrick Henshaw. Robin Henshaw and staff operate the greenhouse store. Our owners have over 40 years experience in the Greenhouse industry. We have owned Wholesale floral Companies(1979), Retail Garden Centers(1984), Interior Plantscape Maintenance Companies(1987) as well as been Regional Account Managers for International Greenhouse Manufactors, Greenhouse Covering Manufactors and Potting Soil Companies. We have many years of retail and Internet based experience by operating Retail Patio, Pool & Spa stores(1987) and Internet Stores(1997). You can be assured your transactions with us will be safe, secure and worry free! We have made Greenhousebuilder into it's own seperate entity in order to fulfill our vision of building a gardening community and share what we have learned and our love of growing. We have big plans for our web site and will be adding new features continually.
