Home improvement kits. Com's standard screen room package consist of a roof kit and a wall kit. The room most often is our 3” aluminum insulated style, or our flat pan roof. The walls are shipped in component parts to be cut to size and assembled on site. This is similar to stick building a house.

 

Because you are cutting to length on site you can adjust the size of openings, door position, and to accommodate for uneven and unlevel surfaces as you go. The component parts method give you the most flexibility. Every thing is pre finished and doing a professional looking job is not difficult.

The screen room framing parts are all pre-painted aluminum consisting of 1” x 2” receiving track, 2” x 2” screen channel used for uprights and cross members, 2” x 3” Special corners, sheet aluminum kick panels, framing extrusions for the kick panels, 2” clips for the chair rail cross members and door header. Fiberglass screen material and flat spline for rolling the screen in place. Screws and fasteners are provided. The screen door comes with hardware and a special bracket to accommodate the door closure.

Our pre-assembled modular screen room kit take some of the site work out of erecting your screen room. Each section is custom made to your measurements in out factory for final assembly on site. Cad drawings are sent with each boxed section numbed as to placement on the job site. Each module consist of pre painted aluminum framing, in 2” or 3” wall widths. The kick panel and top wall header is made from aluminum insulated sandwich panels. The screen is installed at the factory. Each module snap locks together and sets in a bottom receiving track (see installation photos for more detail). This method greatly reduces the man hours needed on site.

 

The procedure is that you send us a drawing of what you have in mind. We will do a rough draft of a plan for your review, you fill in the critical measurements and send the draft back to us. We will prepare CAD drawings for your review and approval. Once you approve the plans we will build the walls and ship your room along with your roof choice. All this can take a few weeks.

Most modular screen room kits are shipped with 3” or 4” thick screen room roofs. The snow load and span of the roof panels will dictate which roof is best for your job. Our sandwich panel style roofs allow for longer span capability and higher snow loading in a low pitch roof that accommodates more interior head room at an affordable price. Your room comes with all needed fasteners, everything except roof flashing.

 

Screen room wall kits are used when you want a professional look using an existing roof. They can be used to fill in-between existing roof support post, to support a new wood roof, or to replace the existing roof supports. The wall framing will support up to #32,000.
